ambigram (noun): A typographical design or artform that may be read as one or more words, not only as presented, but also from another viewpoint, direction or orientation.
A really fun ambigram, with lots of interesting details that come together to make a particularly coherent design. I recall thinking that there was something new or surprising about each of the glyphs as I was designing it — the three-into-one-does-go RIS/M ligature being the most satifying part.
Of course, the central star-like ‘t’ is the conceit around which the whole design turns, and it was that element that helped to define the appropriately spiky overall look and feel.
