ambigram (noun): A typographical design or artform that may be read as one or more words, not only as presented, but also from another viewpoint, direction or orientation.
This was an idea I had almost two years ago, but didn’t realize fully until last year, when I created this design for my sister’s birthday card. My sister is a bit of a maze maniac (nay, world luminary!) and the same labyrinthine compulsion is clearly written (in smaller letters, perhaps) in my DNA aswell.
So, what’s the idea? Well, as we all know, a maze amazes — the question is how? And if you can answer that question you will be able to answer this one too: How many ‘maze’s does it take?
